I have a CT-160 Avo Tester with the Australian Power Mains cable. I'd like to know if someone out there has conversion data on plugging the unit into USA main power? I'd also like to obtain at least a part number for the power input connector. I think it is a Plessey type. I can then make a USA cable for it. I have seen a few of them on Ebay but I am sure I can find this connector locally if I had a part number.

Australia runs on 230V power, Kansas gets 120V power. Does the power transformer have provision for 120V power?
The "center" pin on an Australian plug is Ground, just like the round pin on a US plug. The other two are Line and Neutral, but in practice it does not matter which is which. |
